Steven has litigated patent, trademark, and trade secret cases in U.S. District Courts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board, and proceedings before the International Trade Commission.
Steven was part of a team that litigated a high-profile patent and trade secret dispute between Masimo and Apple regarding features of the Apple watch. Steven has also represented clients in patent and trademark litigation involving a variety of mechanical devices and consumer products.
Prior to his clerkship, Steven was an associate at Knobbe Martens in Irvine, California, where his practice focused exclusively on intellectual property litigation.
