Our firm was founded by the chair and co-chair of the litigation department of one of the largest IP boutiques in the country.  Our lawyers have represented clients in more than 400 patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases in courts around the nation. We regularly represent plaintiffs and defendants before trial courts, appellate courts, the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board, the Patent Trials and Appeals Board, and in arbitrations.

Our experience means we’re not doing things for the first time. We’ve litigated the type of case and the specific legal issue, probably dozens of times. We’ve already been before the court and argued to the judge. We already know the technology and the industry.

• Patent.  On appeal to the Federal Circuit, obtained reversal of a district court’s grant of summary judgment and claim construction on patents relating to elevator systems.
• Patent.  On appeal to the Federal Circuit, obtained reversal of a district court’s grant of summary judgment of noninfringement of a patent relating to a surgical device.
• Patent.  On appeal to the Federal Circuit, obtained affirmance of final written decision by the Patent Trials and Appeals Board cancelling all asserted patent claims relating to self-supporting tents.
• Patent.  After a jury trial, obtained a complete victory from the Federal Circuit, which held that all patents asserted against client’s medical diagnostic device were either invalid or not infringed.
• Patent.  Obtained summary judgment from district court invalidating all patent claims asserted against our client’s commercial building framing component and obtained a ruling from the Federal Circuit affirming the judgment on appeal.
• Patent.  Obtained summary judgment from trial court invalidating all patent claims asserted against client’s online gaming website and obtained affirmance of that judgment on appeal to the Federal Circuit.
