David boasts almost a decade of experience in large law firms, specializing in intellectual property litigation. His experience spans patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation. David has handled specialized IP proceedings, including Hatch-Waxman actions and Section 337 investigations at the ITC. David is well-versed in IPR proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and appeals before the Federal Circuit. He has handled matters relating to advanced technologies such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, molecular diagnostics, nucleic acid sequencers, solar cells, and antennas, as well as matters relating to less complex mechanical devices.
David has a history of success on behalf of his clients. Notably, he was part of the team that represented LEO Pharmaceuticals in Hatch-Waxman litigation in the District of Delaware, specifically involving LEO’s Picato® Product. The cases (LEO Pharma A/S et al. v. Actavis Labs. UT, Inc., 16-cv-0333 and LEO Pharma A/S et al. v. Perrigo UK Finco Ltd. P’ship et al., 16-cv-00430) concluded with a positive settlement. David also helped to invalidate numerous patents relating to molecular diagnostics technologies through IPR proceedings.
